Ryan Hupfer
Social Community Evangelist
Ryan Hupfer, known in the social (both real world and online) world as 'Hup', comes to the table with a very eclectic and somewhat odd mix of social media experience. In 2005 Ryan teamed up with a local digital marketing and communications company and created an online video series for the NCAA Final Four called IndyPods, which eventually led him being asked to join the local on-air news team at WTHR as an on-location reporter and online video blogger. During this same time he was also asked to author the book MySpace For Dummies, which was completed last January and is now the best selling MySpace book in the world.
Ryan's latest foray into the social media realm is the launching of IndyMojo.com, which stems from MetroMojo, a Louisville-based company who's focus is the creation of locally focused online social communities. Their original online social community, LouisvilleMojo.com, has grown to become the single highest trafficked website in the state of Kentucky with over 320,000 monthly unique visitors and a registered user base of over 65,000 locals who have an average onsite visit time of nearly 20 minutes. With over 4,000 registered members and quickly growing, Ryan is excited to help spread the Mojo love here in Indianapolis and would love to chat with anyone who is interested in learning more about IndyMojo, or just social media in general. |
