Overview

Whether one calls it Digital, Online, Interactive, Viral, or Search Engine Marketing, it is still, first and foremost, marketing. And the fact is, without the full integration of strategy, creative, and analysis, your online efforts are doomed to fail.

The problem, it seems to us, is simple: people interested in developing an online presence, or those concerned with extending their initiatives beyond the basics, are bombarded with more information than they can use, and less knowledge and understanding than they need.

So EverEffect has launched The Institute for Advanced Interactive Studies, and is now offering a Masters of Business Online (MBO) featuring presentations by Masters in Online Business. The school and Degree are offered with tongues firmly in cheek, but the actual, day-long conference is all business.

The program is designed to educate, entertain, and inform. Your "instructors" are some of the most influential, acclaimed, and award-winning individuals currently working in the online space; presenters who are not only willing to share their knowledge with you, but eager to do so; people less interested in having you practice what they preach but in preaching what they practice.

There will be no buzz words (okay, maybe a few), and definitely no sales pitches allowed at the conference, only a sharing of experience, ideas, and vision. A few hours of your time and you will have practical solutions that you can put to work the minute it's over.

The true measure of any industry's thought-leaders is not WHAT they know, but what they DO with what they know. What does it say when friendly rivals, and in some cases flat-out competitors, band together to share their secrets?

There are people out there trying to tell you that their tools (Digital, Interactive, Search, et. al.), rather than being servants of marketing, are substitutes for it. Come to the conference. Network, mange (breakfast and lunch are provided), gain new knowledge, and learn the truth about marketing your business online.

As Indianapolis' own Kurt Vonnegut might say (actually, he did in Breakfast of Champions): "New knowledge is the most valuable commodity on earth. The more truth we have to work with, the richer we become."
